Newborn Photography Session | Jacksonville, FL Newborn Photographer
There is something so magical about photographing a 2-week-old newborn, and this sweet baby girl reminded me exactly why I love what I do. She slept peacefully from the very beginning of her session, making posing effortless and allowing us to move gently from setup to setup without a stir.
Soft Purples, Pinks & a Meaningful Pop of Red
Mom selected a beautiful palette of soft purples and pinks—classic, feminine, and timeless. We also incorporated a stunning shade of red to honor her Indian heritage, and it added the most meaningful touch to her gallery. Those small personal details are what turn photos into heirlooms, and this session was the perfect example of that. To create variety throughout the session, I swapped out headbands for cozy bonnets, and the sweetest surprise was how her little hair peeked out from underneath. It added softness, texture, and such an adorable detail that I know her family will cherish forever.
Big Sister Steals the Show
When it came time for family and sibling portraits, big sister absolutely nailed every pose. At her age, you never quite know how long you have—but she was gentle, proud, and so ready for her moment. Being able to give mom the image of her two babies snuggled together, posing perfectly, is the kind of photograph that becomes a family keepsake for generations. It’s the photo that gets framed, gifted, and passed down—and I’m honored I could capture it. I also did some backlit shots that I edited to be black and white to add that pop to make the photos more magical.
Finishing With a Festive Touch
We wrapped up the session with a Christmas-themed setup so the family could include a newborn portrait on their holiday card this year. There’s nothing sweeter than celebrating a baby’s first Christmas with a personalized image, and this little girl was the perfect star of the season.
