There is something so special about welcoming a brand new baby into the family, and sweet baby Macie’s newborn session was full of love, snuggles, and the sweetest sibling moments! One of my favorite parts of this session was getting to see big sister again after photographing her own newborn photos a few years ago. It’s always such an honor as a St. Johns FL newborn photographer to watch families grow and reconnect with past clients as their little ones get bigger. Seeing how much she has grown since her newborn session made this experience even more meaningful. Typically, toddlers under three can be a little hesitant during sibling photos, but not this proud big sister! She was absolutely thrilled to love on her new baby sister. From sweet hugs to the biggest smiles, she made the session so easy and fun. We captured so many beautiful keepsake moments between the two girls, along with timeless family portraits that Mom and Dad will treasure for years to come hanging on their walls. For Macie’s individual newborn portraits, Mom chose a gorgeous color palette of soft purples paired with creamy whites and neutrals. The combination created such a dreamy, timeless setup that perfectly highlighted how tiny and delicate she is. Purple is a feature of her nursery, so this color pallet worked well.
Baby Macie was an absolute dream during her session and slept so soundly the entire time. Because she was so relaxed, we were able to capture every pose I had planned — including the adorable froggy pose, which not every baby is comfortable enough to do safely. She did amazing!
