In-Home Newborn Photography in St. Johns, FL | Capturing Life's Sweetest Moments
There is nothing quite like those first few weeks with your newborn. As a St. Johns newborn photographer, I love helping families preserve these once-in-a-lifetime memories in the comfort of their own home.
This recent in-home newborn session featured an adorable two-week-old baby boy. Mom chose a timeless color palette of whites and soft greens with a beautiful pop of red, creating a classic look that will be treasured for years to come. We also incorporated a cozy blue outfit and soft neutral wraps that perfectly complemented his tiny features.
One of my favorite moments from this newborn photography session was capturing his sweet little smiles. Those tiny expressions disappear so quickly, making them even more special to preserve. We also created a meaningful image featuring Mom, Dad, and baby with their hands surrounding a heart-shaped bowl—a beautiful reminder of the love that welcomed him into the world.
Family photos don't always go exactly as planned, and that's perfectly okay! Big sister, who is two years old, wasn't a fan of my studio lighting, which is actually very common for toddlers. Even though she wasn't quite ready for family portraits, we were able to capture a beautiful portrait of her by herself, along with several heartfelt images of Mom and Dad with their newest little love. Sometimes those genuine moments become the most treasured photographs.
