✨ Newborn Photoshoot Blog: A Pastel‑Perfect Session in St. Johns County, FL

Welcoming a new baby into the world is always a celebration — and this 2‑week‑old newborn session in St. Johns County, FL was overflowing with color, joy, and family love. Mom wanted pastel pinks and teals for the bean bag poses and I also incorporated purples, yellows, and even a rainbow floor drop for a standout setup.

Parents often ask how many colors they should choose, and I always encourage them to pick a few favorites — then I bring additional tones as backups. This gives us flexibility and ensures every gallery has variety.

I also swapped out headbands for bonnets to add variety within each setup. Look how beautiful this baby's eyelashes and hair is!

Prop poses were next- as a reminder, this is the silver package as a stand-alone. Mom picked a few props from my client closet and I added a few different colors than what I used for the bean bag poses (the gold package).

🤍 A Special Moment: One Big Family Photo

One of the most meaningful parts of this session was the family portion. Extended family traveled into town to meet their newest little love, and we were able to capture one big family photo — a true keepsake. The grandparents were glowing, and mom was surrounded by support.
