There is something so special about photographing seniors as they celebrate one of life's biggest milestones. This sweet, shy senior absolutely blossomed throughout her session, and by the end, she was confidently showing off her beautiful smile and personality!
We explored the charming streets of Downtown St. Augustine, taking advantage of the city's historic architecture, colorful homes, brick-lined streets, and timeless character. Every corner offers something unique, making it one of my favorite places for senior portraits. The vibrant colors of the homes and the rich history of the buildings created the perfect backdrop for photos that are both classic and full of personality.
One of my favorite details from this session was the adorable vintage-style bike decorated with flowers. It added such a fun, whimsical touch to her portraits and perfectly complemented the downtown scenery. With three outfit changes, we were able to capture several different looks—from casual and relaxed to more polished and elegant—giving her a gallery full of variety.
Another meaningful part of her session was incorporating her Bible. I always encourage seniors to bring items that are important to them because they help tell their story. Whether it's a Bible, sports equipment, musical instrument, dance shoes, cap and gown, college sweatshirt, letterman jacket, or another keepsake, these personal touches make your senior session uniquely yours.
Senior portraits are about so much more than taking beautiful photos—they're about celebrating who you are during this exciting season of life.
